1.

Introduction

CineScan is a SaaS-based Theatre Entry Operations Platform.

CineScan helps theatres manage entry operations through realtime monitoring, duplicate detection, staff management, device management, analytics, billing, and multi-theatre operations.

CineScan provides an operational layer for theatre owners, administrators and authorized staff. It is an entry-control layer for modern theatres.

CineScan:

  • does not sell, issue or book movie tickets
  • is not a movie ticket booking platform or a payment gateway for ticket purchases
  • does not validate ticket authenticity
  • does not independently determine ticket ownership
  • is not affiliated with any ticket booking platform
2.

Nature of Service

Theatre operators use CineScan to manage their theatre entry operations. The platform provides:

  • Realtime entry monitoring
  • QR/ticket scanning and entry recording
  • Duplicate scan detection
  • Show-based entry operations
  • Staff management
  • Device management
  • Analytics
  • Billing
  • Multi-theatre operations

CineScan does NOT:

  • decode or interpret ticket contents
  • access or integrate with external ticketing platforms
  • determine ticket validity or ownership
  • guarantee ticket authenticity

Scanned inputs are processed solely for operational duplicate-detection purposes using hashed identifiers. CineScan does not store raw QR contents or personal customer information.

Multi-theatre operations allow authorized users to manage multiple theatre locations according to their assigned permissions and their subscription/service configuration. Theatre and device limits follow the selected plan.

3.

User Responsibilities

Theatre operators agree:

  • CineScan is a support tool only
  • Final entry decisions are made by theatre staff
  • Staff must follow proper entry procedures

Theatre operators remain responsible for their own:

  • Ticketing policies
  • Admission decisions
  • Entry procedures
  • Staff actions
  • Customer disputes
4.

Subscription & Billing

Billing under these terms refers only to the theatre's subscription to, or usage of, the CineScan platform. CineScan does not process movie-ticket purchases and is not a payment gateway for ticket purchases.

CineScan offers both monthly subscription plans and usage-based (per-scan) plans, depending on the selected service option.

Plan Activation

  • The applicable base subscription fee must be paid in advance at the time of plan selection to activate the service

Monthly Plans

  • Monthly plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis
  • Access may be restricted, suspended, or terminated if payment is not received by the renewal date

Usage-Based (Per-Scan) Plans

  • Charges are based on the number of scans processed during the billing cycle
  • Usage is calculated and billed at the end of each billing period (typically monthly)
  • Payment for usage-based plans must be completed within the specified billing timeline

General Terms

  • CineScan reserves the right to modify pricing, plans, or billing structure with a minimum of 30 days’ prior notice
  • Continued use of CineScan after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing
  • CineScan may apply fair usage policies or limits where necessary to ensure system performance and reliability
5.

Free Trial

  • Each theatre entity (identified by email, phone number, or theatre name) is entitled to one (1) free 7-day trial
  • Abuse of the trial system will result in immediate termination
6.

Termination

CineScan reserves the right to suspend or terminate access:

  • for violation of these terms
  • for non-payment

7.

CineScan is not responsible for:

8.

Independent Service Disclaimer
